How To Make Spicy Potato At Home

That maximum people like to eat potato curry and today I have brought for you the recipe of spicy potato. It will take 15 to 20 minutes to make it. If you try all this once, you will want to make it every time.


Preparation :-

  1. 4 PCS Potatoes (medium-sized) (about 500 grams)
  2. 2 PCS Onion (medium-sized) finely chopped
  3. 2 PCS Tomato (medium-sized) finely chopped or pureed
  4. 1 Tablespoon Ginger-Garlic paste
  5. 1-2 Green chilies (optional)
  6. 2 Tablespoons Cooking oil
  7. 1 Teaspoon Cumin seeds
  8. ½ Teaspoon Mustard seeds (optional)
  9. ½ Teaspoon Turmeric powder
  10. 1 Teaspoon Red chili powder (adjust to taste)
  11. ½ Teaspoon Garam masala
  12. ½ Teaspoons. Coriander powder
  13. ½ to 2 cups Water
  14. Salt to taste (approx. 1 tsp)
  15. 2 Tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves, chopped

Add spicy cashews to make it. Take 25 grams of silver and we will put it in a jar. So after adding garlic here, we will use Kashmiri red chili powder in it. So one and a half to two teaspoons of Kashmiri red chili powder can be added. You can also use dry red chili instead of it. Just soak it in water. First, we will add one-fourth teaspoon cumin powder to it. Half teaspoon coriander powder and nothing else is to be added to it. Water is not to be used. Close the lid of the jar and blend it. If your masala is not thick, then you can add a little water to it.

So our masala paste is ready. See, keep it a little coarse, there is no need to make it a very fine paste. Then we will heat oil in a pan and as soon as the oil gets hot, we will add potatoes to it. So here four boiled potatoes How have you cut the potatoes into pieces? We have to fry them first and take them out. So, we don’t have to do anything different. Just fry them for 2 minutes on medium flame. And when you see that the potatoes start to get slightly crispy, take out the potatoes. See, after taking out the potatoes, we will make the masala in the remaining oil. So, I am not adding oil here. I have just put this masala in the oil as prepared by Parshuram. We will keep the flame of the gas low here. And after adding this masala, first mix it well. We have used raw garlic in it. So, fry it well in the oil. So, cook it on low flame for two minutes. As soon as the oil starts appearing on the edges of the masala, it means that our masala has been fried well. Now, we will add water to it. We have to use a little water. So, add about one-third cup of water to it.

After adding water, we will mix it like this. Now, we will cover the pan and cook it on low flame for 1 minute. After one minute, we removed the lid of the pan. Mix it. Our gravy is ready. We have to add potatoes. If you want to make a dry vegetable, do not use more water and after this, add the shredded potatoes in it. Add salt according to taste or add one teaspoon of salt. After adding salt, mix it like this and after this, cover the pan and cook it on low flame for two more minutes. Here, you can see the color of the vegetable if it looks brown. After 2 minutes, remove the lid of the pan and mix it once like this. You can see that the spices that we have used have been coated well. So, now what will we do? Turn off the gas and after this, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to it. By adding lemon juice, its taste will be known, but the strong sourness will reduce. Add finely chopped coriander leaves and with this, add half a teaspoon of chaat masala powder. If you are using chaat masala, add less salt in it first because chaat masala contains salt, so keep this in mind and mix it well. Keep in mind that lemon and chaat masala powder should be added after turning off the gas. Our spicy Gandhi Potato is ready. This vegetable looks very good.
