When you get restaurant-like paneer sabji at home, then why go to a restaurant? Today we are going to make restaurant style paneer tikka masala. It is very easy to make and its taste is amazing. So if you like today’s recipe, So let’s start today’s recipe.

Preparation :-
- Paneer (cottage cheese) 250 grams (cubed)
- Thick curd (yogurt) ½ cup (hung curd preferred)
- Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon
- Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder ¼ teaspoon
- Garam masala ½ teaspoon
- Roasted cumin powder ½ teaspoon
- Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
- Chaat masala ½ teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Mustard oil or any oil 1 tablespoon (for richness)
For the Veggies:
- Capsicum (green/red/yellow) 1 cup (diced chunks)
- Onion 1 (large, layers separated)
- Tomato (optional) 1 (firm, deseeded, diced)
To make paneer tikka masala, first of all, put two to three tablespoons of curd in a vessel. If you use curd prepared at home, then use only two spoons. Put one tablespoon of gram flour here. After this, we will add celery seeds. Celery gives a good taste, but you can make it without it as well. So, here, add 1/ 4th teaspoon of celery seeds, 1/3rd teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon of Kashmiri red chili powder, 1/3rd teaspoon of coriander powder, 1/3rd teaspoon of cumin powder, a little garam masala powder, and at last, we will add this tandoori masala powder. You can also use Kitchen King Masala instead.

Add a little oil. After this, we will mix it well. We have to coat the paneer first. So now we will add salt to it. So use a little salt here because we have to use salt in curry as well. So add a little salt and beat it well to make a thick batter. Do not use water in it. So our batter is ready. Now we will add cubes of paneer to it. I have made big pieces of paneer here. You can use smaller pieces if you want. I have used 250 grams of paneer here. After this, we will add capsicum to it. I have taken red, green and onion and yellow capsicum. I have cut all of them into cubes. I have cut them like paneer and after this, we will marinate it with paneer. If you do not have red and yellow capsicum, then you can use only green capsicum and onion. So mix it well here. Now we will cover it and keep it in the fridge for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, I took it out of the fridge and I used it. Once we mix it well, the paneer here is well coated with curd and spices. So now we move on to the process of cooking it. So turn on the gas and heat oil in a pan, spread the oil well and after that, just like we make paneer tikka, place this marinated paneer on the pan, spread it in such a way so that all the paneer gets cooked evenly. Here, I have put paneer, capsicum and onion, everything on it and cook it on medium flame for 5 to 7 minutes. Keep turning it in between so that it doesn’t burn. If you want, you can put the paneer tikka on a skewer and then cook it in the oven too. So, our paneer is cooked well from both the sides. You can see a brown layer is visible on it. The paneer looks a little crispy. So, our paneer tikka is ready.

Now we move on to the process of making the gravy. Remove it from the gas and keep it aside and heat another pan on the gas. Pour oil back into the pan. And as soon as the oil gets hot, add cumin seeds. Cook the cumin seeds a little. After that add two medium-sized onions, finely chopped. We will fry the onions on medium flame for three to four minutes or until they turn brown. Keep the flame of the gas medium and our onions are fried. So now we will add one teaspoon ginger and garlic paste to it. After that mix this ginger and garlic. We will fry it on medium flame for half a minute with onions. After this, we will make the flame of the gas low and add half a teaspoon turmeric powder. Add one teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder here. It is less spicy. We will add half a teaspoon coriander powder. Half a teaspoon cumin powder. We will use garam masala later. Cook the spices on low flame for half a minute. When you put the spices in the oil, the color of the vegetable will be very good. Just make sure that the flame of the gas is low. After this, we will add one-third cup tomato puree to it. If you do not have tomato puree, then finely chop two small tomatoes and add them or Grate the tomato and add it and mix it well. Puree gives a good color to the vegetable, that’s why I have used this. Now when we cook the tomato puree with the spices, cover the pan and let it cook on low flame for 5 to 7 minutes until oil is visible from the sides of the spices. You can see that our masala is fried, oil is visible from the sides.

The more you fry the spices, the better the vegetable will So, the masala should not burn. Then we will add one and a quarter cup of water and then add salt. Remember we have added salt to paneer as well, so add salt as required. After this, we will mix it and wait for it to boil. Cover the pan and wait for the first boil. As soon as the water starts boiling, see our curry is ready. Now we will add the paneer tikka which we have prepared. See, put all the paneer in the gravy like this. The colour of the gravy looks very nice. Now how the vegetable looks after cooking, it will be known in the end. So, I added this paneer. I mixed it well. Now our work is done with this curry. We will just cover the pan and cook it on low flame for 10 minutes. You can see its texture, it is very velvety smooth, very colourful, looks exactly like a restaurant. So finally put some garam masala on it and if you have kasuri methi then rub it a little and sprinkle it. If you don’t have kasuri methi then you can make it without it. Cream is not to be used in this curry. Now we will cover the pan and turn off the gas. Leave the curry for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes I removed the lid of the pan and here you can see that the texture of the gravy has become thicker than before and our delicious paneer tikka masala is ready. Here, let me show you, see this is our curry.
This is done, now we move on to the process of putting it on a plate, so for serving, take it out in any vessel and here you can see the color of the vegetable, the texture of the gravy is very good, very tasty, it looks very attractive, so finally garnish it with coriander leaves and serve this vegetable hot with roti, puri, paratha, naan, kulcha, anything, it tastes good with everything, so you must try this paneer tikka masala recipe.

Thank you
