First of all you have to apply dough here. Here I have taken 500 grams of maida. I have taken flour. You can increase or decrease the amount of flour according to your requirement. So here you have to sift the flour well.

After this, put it in a bowl or put it in a plate. So see here, I have filled three soup balls and put flour here. Then you have to add salt to it. So add half a teaspoon of salt to it. You have to add one teaspoon of sugar to it. Along with this, you have to add baking powder. So add one teaspoon of baking powder to it. Or you can also add some semolina to it. This reduces the elasticity of the dough. And after this you have to mix all the ingredients well here. Now here you are making butter naan, so use butter. You have to add butter to it. Add 50 ml of butter to it. You have to melt the butter and mix it. If butter is not available, then you can also use oil instead. And then you have to add milk to it. So see I had taken three cups of flour.

We add one cup of milk to it. This gives a good white colour and also maintains good softness. And add half a cup of water to it. After this you have to mix it little by little. First of all mix the flour well with butter milk and water. The dough you have to make should be a little soft dough. If you use soft flour then your naan will be soft. See, I have collected the dough by adding some water and milk. So see, I have collected the dough here by adding water little by little. In this way this dough will not stick to the hands. So after this you have to add one spoon of oil to it. Add a little oil. What will happen with this? The dough will not stick to your hands. And in this way pat the dough at least 15 to 20 times. What happens by patting? The stretch in the dough reduces. And in this way you also have to knead it a little. There is no need to knead it like we knead wheat dough to make chapati. Otherwise when you make naan, it becomes small after rolling. See, this is how we set the dhol by banging it. Okay? Now see, all the cracks in it have completely gone. You have to apply a little oil here so that the dough does not dry from the top. You have to cover it from above and keep it for at least 10 to 15 minutes.

In this time the dough will be ready to make naan. Okay? See, it has been 15 minutes since I applied the dough here. Now after this you have to make pedas from it. Even after making pedas, they have to be given some rest. So follow each step one by one. Your naan can be made at home like restaurant naan. Try it. See, you have to make these pedas of a little bigger size because I have a big pan. If your pan is small then you can also make small size pedas. You can also make this naan in mini size. Okay? So this is how you have to make the pedas nicely round. And apply a little oil on the bottom of the vessel in which you will keep it. The Naan Peda that we make is prepared in batches of 90 grams to 120 grams. Apply a little oil. And after covering it from above, you have to let it rest for 5 minutes. Just give me a rest of 5 minutes. It will become very soft. And look, 11 Pedas are ready from 500 grams of flour. Let’s give them a rest of 5 minutes. You have to take a tawa. Take an iron tawa. Wash it well. There is no need to add masala. And I have to take another bowl. Put two-three teaspoons of salt in it. Add some water along with salt. Water and salt have to be mixed well here. I will tell you later where you have to use it. So look carefully, you have added salt and water. And it has been 5 minutes since I added the Pedas here. And see how soft the Pedas have become.

You can make them by hand as well.Make the naan with your hands. It is not made by rolling it with a rolling pin. So see, here I tell you the restaurant way. First of all you have to press the peda like this. And roll it on your hands like this. Our dough remains so soft. You have to apply a little butter on it. I am telling you the real way. The way butter is not applied. Coat it with a little dry flour. And fold it like this. Just like you make triangular parathas, do not press it lightly from the top. You have to let it rest for about 1 minute and after that make the naan like this. Then you have to put it on a cushion and pull it a little forward. Okay? Here the temperature of the tandoor is 220 to 240°. The naan needs to be cooked a little slowly. Only then it becomes crispy and it tastes good. So see the naan is cooked well. Let’s take it out. And after taking it out you have to apply butter on the butter naan. And this is the method of making plain naan as well. But don’t fold the plain naan. Let’s make it straight like this. And if you want to put extra butter then you can put some butter on the inner layer as well. And cut it into three pieces like this and serve. You can eat it with dal makhani, mixed vegetable, kadhai paneer, etc. Now here I tell you the method to make it at home. How can you make it at home? So first of all we will make plain naan. First of all you have to make the peda a little bigger like this. And you have to put some nigella seeds on it. If you don’t have nigella seeds then skip it. You can sprinkle some coriander leaves on top. You should not press the nigella seeds like this. Okay? And see above, I am also putting some coriander leaves in it. Now you have to roll it with the help of a rolling pin here. If you are making it at home then you have to roll the naan with a rolling pin and make it at home. See this, in this way you have to give it a little longer shape towards the front like the shape of naan. And after this you have to turn the naan upside down. See, this is how you turn the naan upside down. Then you must have prepared salt water, keep applying it little by little like this. If you have a brush, then you can apply water with the brush too. So you have to apply water all around here. Only then will the naan stick properly. Now lift the naan like this. You have to heat the pan lightly. See, the pan should be hot like this.

Do not put it on a cold pan. And you have to let the naan cook for about 2 minutes on one side. Some bubbles will start coming here. Then look at it like this, you have to turn the naan. Lift the pan and turn it over and cook it on medium to high flame on the gas. Then if you feel that the naan is raw from the bottom then you can cook it for some more time on the pan. And see, its color has become perfect, like it comes from the tandoor. So now how do you make butter naan? Butter naan turns out to be very tasty. Because it is made without folding. So first of all you see this, here first of all you have to make a round naan. Okay? Then apply a little butter on it. If you are making butter naan then you have to use only butter. If you want to apply ghee, then you can apply it. This way the new layer comes out well. You have to sprinkle a little flour on top. This makes the layer of naan come out. When we sprinkle flour. Fold it. You have to apply a little butter on the other side as well. And then you have to fold it like this. Now after this you have to keep this peda for 2 minutes, sprinkle some nigella seeds on top and roll it like you make triangular paratha. And I have already told one more thing. If the pan is small then make small pedas. Make thin naan, it gets cooked quickly. See this.

Now like you did not apply water in plain naan, the same method is with salt. This also does not have to be turned. And you can see, apply a little water like this. And then you have to cook it as well. Now how to cook it? By the way, you have to keep the temperature of the pan medium. And see, place the naan on the pan like this. Now after placing it on the pan,let it cook for 2 minutes. Light bubbles start appearing here on the naan. Look, the naan has started puffing up. Then you have to increase the gas flame.
