Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 250g (about 2 cups) mushrooms (button, cremini, or mixed), sliced
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup vegetable broth (or chicken broth)
  • ½ cup heavy cream (or coconut cream for dairy-free)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp thyme (optional)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional, for umami boost)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Sauté aromatics: In a skillet, heat butter or oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic; sauté until translucent.
  2. Cook mushrooms: Add mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and turn golden brown (about 8–10 minutes).
  3. Add flour: Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms, stir well for 1–2 minutes to eliminate the raw taste.
  4. Make it saucy: Slowly add broth while stirring to avoid lumps. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Creamy finish: Stir in the cream, black pepper, thyme, soy sauce (if using), and adjust salt. Simmer for 2 more minutes. Turn off heat and garnish with parsley.

Heat a wok on high flame, then add 2 tablespoons of butter and one teaspoon of oil and let the butter melt. You have to add it, its flavour comes out very nicely, once you add the zest of one lemon, then you have to cut the same lemon and add the juice of the whole lemon to it, along with that add salt as per the taste, now you have to mix it well and stir it well and coat the rice with all the spices, coriander, garlic and onion and cook it for three to four minutes, once you have cooked the rice, you can see that our lemon coriander rice is ready, so this lemon coriander rice looks very delicious and you can eat it by just making this rice, even if you are not making gravy, it is fun to eat like this, if you want to add some veggies to it, if you want to add corn, then you can add that, that also tastes good, it will become like this fried rice type and looks very delicious, now our rice is ready in a very easy way, now next we have to make creamy mushrooms, let’s see how to make that, heat a pan well on high flame, it is important to heat the pan once When the pan gets heated, I am adding one tablespoon of olive oil to it. You can use any oil. Once the oil gets heated, add one tablespoon of chopped garlic and two chopped green chilies to it and cook it lightly by stirring it. You do not have to cook too much garlic because the garlic will cook further with the mushrooms.

Now add 250 grams of mushrooms and a pinch of salt. You can add mushrooms by cutting them into quarters or halves. Now you have to cook them well on high flame while stirring occasionally and you will see that a little brown color will start coming on the mushrooms. First of all, what will happen is that the mushrooms will release water due to the salt. Mushrooms contain a lot of water and slowly that water will dry up and the color of the mushrooms will become a little brown. Till then you have to cook the mushrooms. So you can see that the mushrooms have released water here. Cook it separately and once the water dries up and the mushrooms turn brown, you have to cook the mushrooms till then. So cook the mushrooms here. But I have cooked the mushrooms. Take them out and transfer them to a bowl. Now add 2 tablespoons of butter in the same pan. Once the butter melts, you have to add two tablespoons of refined flour. The quantity of butter and refined flour should remain the same. Now you have to cook the refined flour on low flame while mixing it well. It is very important to cook the refined flour until its texture becomes sandy and a little coarse. You can see that I cooked the refined flour well and you can see the texture of the refined flour. At this stage, you have to add milk to it. I have taken 500 ml and 2 liters of milk. I will add the milk in three to four stages. First, you added some milk. You have to beat it quickly. You can also use a whisk. Once it is mixed, add the second batch of milk and you have to continue this process. We are doing this process so that the refined flour does not form lumps. So, you will add all the milk in such batches and mix well.
